The SU-85 (Samokhodnaya Ustanovka—meaning self-propelled carriage) is a Soviet tank destroyer. This vehicle was armed with the dangerous 85mm gun and had a very low profile. SU-85 tank destroyer was the answer to the newer larger German tanks on the battle field.
