Moonshiners: American Gangster Expansion
The box set come with the Moonshiners rule book, which includes information concerning character background, a weapons rules sections and how they were used, and game play rules and scenarios. Also included are the Moonshiner character miniatures (including "The Mastiff") and the still which is used in the scenarios. Of course you also get the character cards, equipment cards, and counters and templates necessary to play the game.
Moonshiners is fast. You can play a game in about 30 minutes with 3-5 characters per side – fast and furious fun! Moonshiner is an expansion set. To play the game, you will need a copy of American Gangster.
The Moonshiners!
The McClampetts have been in these parts since before Texas was a state and have been making moonshine in their family for generations. Included in this set are 3 Moonshiner characters...Cletus McKampett who has been fishing before he could talk and close friends with "FB" DuPree, Tracy Nelly McClampett, wife of Cletis, has been running the family business since her mother died. And Forest "FB" DuPree, Nelly's brother. The only boy in his family with 4 sisters, he learned how to work a still at a tender age. Along with the miniatures are also their character cards with all their details.
The Mastiff
No Moonshiner crew is complete without their trusty dog, in this case, the mastiff. Under obedient command of its owner, the mastiff will give its life to protect its owner and attack when necessary. The character equipped with The Mastiff equipment card is considered its owner.
The Still
The heart of the Moonshiner's operation, the still is to be protected at all costs (for obvious reasons). The still a resin-cast piece that is ready to take out of the box, paint and play.
Equipment Cards
20 Equipment cards are also included for the Moonshiners. In the scenarios or free play, you and your opponent are allocated points to pick additional equipment such as a pistol, submachine gun, or even the trusty Mastiff. No two games are alike because you can change your equipment every game!
Counters and Templates
Full color templates and counters such as body counters so if a man falls others can use his equipment. This leaves no room for guessing as the counters are all there!
